Opening information for Burton Agnes
Hall and Gardens
Please note that the Carriage House Cafe, Shop and Courtyard plant sales are open to all who are visiting the Hall or its Gardens. Our admissions are taken on arrival, and there is no separate free admission to the Carriage House area.
Opening Times 2024
1st January- 2nd February: Hall, gardens, shop and café are closed
3rd February - 25th February: Café, shop and gardens open daily between 11am - 4pm
26th February -22nd March: Hall, gardens, shop and café are closed.
23rd March until 3rd November: House, café, shop and gardens open daily between 11am - 5pm
4th November-15th November: Gardens, shop and café are closed
16th November - 23rd December: House, café, shop and gardens open daily between 11am - 5pm
Changes to normal opening times
During events the courtyard may be open to ticket holders only; please call ahead for advice on 01262 490324.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds, except in the playground.
Admission Prices 2024
Please note that these prices may vary for special events.
These include a voluntary 10% donation, which will support the upkeep and ongoing restoration of Burton Agnes Hall. If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete a Gift Aid declaration, which will allow Burton Agnes Hall to claim from the Government an extra 25% of your total payment.

Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens members have free access whenever the Hall and Gardens are open to day visitors. This excludes the weekend of the Burton Agnes Jazz & Blues Festival.
Historic House members are valid for admission on normal opening days (excluding Burton Agnes Jazz & Blues Festival). Please present your membership card on arrival.
